Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP) Job Description: Responsible for checking the volume of work is completed.  Performing miscellaneous data entries related to cost control and  quantities take off.  Preparing a budgetary cost and well-defined cost estimates.  Calculating material take-offs under the procedures of Principles of  Measurement International Method (RICS). Preparing final and detailed bill of quantities under 16 trade divisions.  Preparing general and special conditions of contract (CPWD & FIDIC)  Modifying contract documents.  Reviewing contractual pay request.  Ascertaining the cost of variation orders.  Auditing budgetary cost estimates of various projects. Preparing technical specifications.  Evaluating tender bid and documents. Analyzing pre-qualification bid documents of contractors.  Conducting value engineering analysis. Capable of negotiating contracts. Preparing project schedules according to different stages in the  Primavera System; Version 3.1, 3 & 5. Responsible for managing a team of between 2-7 people. Knowledge, Experience:  *MEP experience/knowledge essential *Must have Post contract management from consultancy. *Must have RICS qualification Good command over English is a must and Arabic will be an added advantage. Personal Computer skills 10 - keys Calculators, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Auto CAD - Version 2008, Primavera; P3 Version; 3 & 3.1, 5, Software; Microsoft Project, Calculating through Auto CAD; Version 2007.  Relevant Diploma or Degree essential.  ***High Rise Experience and experience on Commercial and Industrial projects a distinct advantage.
